Pa! I lost my laptop in the stampede and it got trampled! Guess we'll have to get a new one at the next trading post.

We got Samuel the Oregon Trail computer game. It's fancier than the one that we played way back in 1986, as you can well imagine, but it's the same premise and Samuel has had fun playing it. It came with this bumper sticker, which I love:



Samuel looked at it and wanted to know why the picture looked funny. I explained to him that all computer pictures used to look like that, thinking that he would make the connection to when dh and I told him that we used to play the game when we were kids. Instead, he thought we were talking about an even earlier time:
