Samuel came to me about 2 weeks ago to tell me his tooth was loose, and I said, "Yeah, I know," thinking he was just noticing that they still had a little wiggle to them after a previous injury. Well, he opened his mouth and flipped his tooth perpendicular to where it should be, and I, being the calm, laid-back mom that I am, screamed. Which made him think something was horribly wrong and burst into tears. I know, way to go. I'll put that on my resume for the mom-of-the-year award. But all is well now, and look at that big boy gap!
